Dr. Gaheer grew up owing dogs and that bond inspired him to become a veterinarian. After completion of his masters degree in veterinary medicine in 2003, he continued to complete his credentials at LSU School Of Veterinary Medicine. He acquired Kingsburg Veterinary Clinic in 2013. He is also co-owner of Armstrong Pet Hospital In Clovis, Ca. He has keen interest in orthopedic surgery and completed intensive courses in advanced orthopedic surgery certified by AO-ASIF. This has provided him with the skills needed to perform all kinds of simple or complicated fracture repairs, patellar/ hip luxation repair and corrective osteotomies, such as the TPLO surgery for ACL injuries in dogs. He spends his time off with his wife, daughter and their dog Lewis.
